For many climbers, the lizard is the animal symbol of the success of the climbing routes more difficult. How many have already said "Oh, if I could run like a lizard on the rocks" . Rejoice! coming soon :-) This charming little animal seems to inspire many scientists around the world, Futura Sciences postpones some examples, highlighting its qualities to adhere to any surface thanks to its self-legged cleaning. Will we soon be imagined climbing shoes inspired by the lizard legs? Who knows ;-)

Some time ago we returned to El Choro in Spain, where we had the opportunity to climb into an incredible place: El Camino Del Rey . A groove very cashed, or a passage more than rustic was constructed by man, finished around the year 1905. The escalation of these few skins is amazing, and feel just as strong!
Today, the course of this passage is more like the Via Ferrata than a simple hike. For proof, this video speaks volumes about the atmosphere that reigns at El Camino Del Rey :-) Warning, beware of vertigo!
discovered some time ago on Pofroad I absolutely wanted to try the famous Ecoball found at La Maison de Climber in Paris in Paris, for just 6 euros (and a new bag for the occasion :-) pof
According to the manufacturer, it would seem that the powder contained high drying agent. On a somewhat bluish, it effectively replaces the old instead pof. By pushing the ball, a blue dust (a bit strange anyway) is ejected from the kind of gray and black pudding adheres directly to the fingers of the hand. Although the powder adheres slightly less than the pof the skin, its effectiveness seems convincing on the blocks Fontainebleau, we therefore adopt soon! :-)
Finally, the Ecoball seems to be an interresting alternative to good old white powder, or Magnesia Pof! But its composition remains an enigma ... Is it really seems like the ecological mentioned his name? No matter, I remain innocent and trusting

In move to London, we passed near the Millennium Bridge, the last bridge built by the city. The gateway is recognizable by the 8 cables stretched below the level of the platform, go here or pedestrians.
For urban climbers, do not tell me that the architecture of the Millennium Bridge did not attempt more than one :-)? Passing nearby, it said: "It must be fun to swing from a beam across :-)".
But then, London has taken anti-climbers! I wonder if the exploits of Alain Robert worldwide are not there for anything :-)?
This Wednesday, 9 January 2008 came out in theaters on film by Sean Penn, "Into the Wild ", inspired by the book "Into the Wild " by Jon Krakauer. With Emile Hirsch in the role of Christopher McCandless, a guy taken ill at ease a crisis of conscience that our earth is full of heaven and decides to leave everything to enjoy it when leaving for Alaska. Rafting Kayaking, raid, climbing cliffs, all through magnificent scenery :-)
This is not the first film, foregrounding the beauty of magnificent landscapes. One thinks: "The Last Trapper " by Nicolas Vanier, where many " The March of the Penguins "by Luc Jacquet. But a detail of the trailer caught my attention! When Emile Hirsh tattered ties all of his life: identity card, credit card, and abandons its currency bills by burning. All this on a whim, to disconnect once and for all "system" and enjoy the pleasures of nature. This reaction makes me think only one thing: Who
could well do the same? me ... it makes me a bit scared I think :-)
