First a word about the famous phone numbers. When you want to call from abroad on our cellphones, it seems that we should not do the "0" beginning our numbers (be careful, I do not mean the area code) Contact Us
from Canada should therefore be: William
011 593 10 668 August 1950
Yves: 011 593 62 387 9 39
Apologies if you tried to reach us. Congratulations to those who have passed anyway!
After 5 days of life in Ecuadorian families, more or less isolated by students, while the group gathered Friday at the beach of Puerto Lopez. We were all very happy to soak your feet in the Pacific Ocean and to share collective hysteria when Ecuador won against Poland at the World Cup soccer.
It was a week that the group was split into two. My group and me, those of Jipijapa, arrived Thursday night in Puerto Lopez while Yves group, the group of Guayaquil, arrived Friday afternoon. Everyone was very excited to meet again and share his experiences.
That's a pity he did not best but it was still a very popular rest period, with a visit to the Isla de la Plata (and these strange birds with blue feet), snorkeling, swimming and for some, riding and surfing.
Now the challenge is to return to our respective families, knowing full well what awaits us: rice!! And yes, people are Chinese Jipijapa Ecuador. We do not understand much when they talk and they eat rice three times a day!
It remains only 8 days of training (after we found another beach for the final exam) but it will probably be the richest in meetings and understanding of life in Ecuador.
More than 8 days and this whole adventure ends. I feel the nostalgia is almost here ...
