What a surprise Friday morning to find ourselves in the newspaper El Diario ! Like all other newspapers across the country, the largest daily in the province of Manabi devoted many pages to victory in Ecuador against Costa Rica in World Cup football and especially the parades spontannés held in all cities. We participated in the parade in spite of ourselves a bit because we were out of town to work in another community. But in our "box pick-up we seemed to celebrate like everyone else ... what we did indeed! Our photo essay that appeared in the paper presented to the A4 page is legitimate
The photo caption at top right reads: "In Jipijapa algunos extranjeros is unieron al festejo" . And zooming in on the photo is very well recognized Jessica, Julian, Emily Anne, Benjamin (side) and William (the back of the truck).
I keep a copy of the newspaper for those who want to roll the page!
